FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Everything universities ask us about Atlas LMS — and how it fits into the rest of the WhiteBird suite.

What is Pegasus Learn?

Pegasus Learn is WhiteBird's learning management system, part of the Pegasus division for learning. When the ERP creates a subject, the LMS creates the course automatically, lectures transcribe themselves with chapter markers, AI study assistants are grounded in your own materials, and continuous-assessment marks flow back to the ERP gradebook in real time.

How does Pegasus Learn use AI?

Every video lecture is transcribed automatically with chapter markers and searchable text in about 15 minutes per hour of video, and a per-course AI tutor answers student questions citing specific lectures and pages. AI auto-grades MCQs, fill-in-the-blank, and code assignments, suggests rubric-based grades for essays, detects plagiarism against public sources and class submissions, generates quizzes from lecture transcripts, and auto-translates subtitles into Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and more.

Does Pegasus Learn integrate with our existing ERP and tools?

Pegasus Learn and Atlas ERP share one database, so when the ERP creates a subject for a semester, the LMS automatically creates the course, enrolls students, and assigns faculty — zero clicks and zero integration tax. Grade sync is bidirectional, live classes launch through Zoom, Meet, or Teams directly from the course page, and the content library accepts videos, PDFs, links, SCORM packages, and code notebooks.

How long does Pegasus Learn take to deploy?

Deployment takes days to weeks — about 15 days — with pre-built modules and guided onboarding. Because courses, enrollments, and faculty assignments are auto-created from ERP subjects, faculty only add content, and AI handles transcription, processing, and delivery from there.

Will the AI study assistant do students' assignments for them?

No. The per-course AI assistant is grounded in your course content, answers questions with citations to specific lectures and pages, and is designed not to solve graded assignments. Plagiarism detection with semantic similarity checking against public sources and class submissions adds a second layer of academic integrity.

How do grades flow between Pegasus Learn and the ERP?

Grade sync is bidirectional and real-time: continuous-assessment marks from LMS assignments and quizzes flow into the Atlas ERP gradebook, and ERP exam results are visible inside the LMS, giving faculty and students one unified grade book. Learning analytics track watch time, completion rates, and engagement so faculty see who is falling behind before it is too late.
